Old Forge Farmers MarketThe Old Forge Farmers’ Market has become THE place to start your weekend in the area. It’s where you come to buy your fresh goods, see the latest offerings from local artisans and craftspeople, meet your neighbors and old friends and make new friends!

When is the market open?  The market is open every Friday from June 23 to October 6, from 1 pm to 5 pm.

Where is the market located?  The market is located at the corner of Lamberton St. and Park Ave., and behind the Old Forge Hardware store in the village of Old Forge.

Does the market accept EBT SNAP Benefits? Many of our vendors are Farm Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) farmers who also accept SNAP tokens and coupons/vouchers from WIC, Herkimer County Office for the Aging, Fresh Connect checks — receive $2 in checks for every $5 in SNAP benefits you spend — and Veterans coupons. In addition, our market has its own local $2 cap-21 tokens that are given to people that our Food Bank determines need help in purchasing healthy fresh foods. Last year, the market donated $4,846 to support this program!

What products do the vendors offer? This market offers flowers, wine, honey, vegetables, heirloom tomatoes, baked goods, maple products, goat cheeses and red tail venison.

What makes your market unique? Every market day, we offer free space for local non-profits and government agencies so they can get their information out to the general public.

Special Events: This year marks the market’s 10th anniversary and we’re celebrating with live music during market hours.
