Run by the Fulton-Montgomery Farmers’ Market Association, The Johnstown Farmers’ Market has all the delicious and healthy fruits and veggies you need to eat right! Come out and support your local farmers and suppliers of natural goods.
When is the market open? The market is open every Tuesday from 3 PM – 6 PM from
June 13 – Mid-October
Where is the market located? The market is located at Sir William Johnson Park, 223 West Main Street, Johnstown, NY
Does the market accept EBT SNAP Benefits? Yes, and we add to a shopper’s buying power with the Fresh Checks Incentive Program — for every $5 a customer spends with their SNAP benefits, they will receive $2 in Fresh Checks to spend at the market!
What products do the vendors offer? Vendors sell bedding plants, fruits and vegetables (in season), baked goods, snacks, eggs, meats (pork and beef, pasture-raised chicken), and seasonal flowers.
What makes your market special? The Johnstown Farmers’ Market is managed by the Fulton Montgomery Farmers Market Association (FMFMA), a nonprofit organization formed to bring fresh, local foods to our community. FMFMA runs only 100% producer markets, which means that every vendor grew, raised, or made all the products they offer for sale.
Special Events: We will feature live music on some Saturdays; check our Facebook page for details and dates.
