What products do the vendors offer? Vendors sell bedding plants, fruits and vegetables (in season), baked goods, snacks, eggs, meats (pork and beef, pasture-raised chicken), and seasonal flowers.

What makes your market special? The Johnstown Farmers’ Market is managed by the Fulton Montgomery Farmers Market Association (FMFMA), a nonprofit organization formed to bring fresh, local foods to our community. FMFMA runs only 100% producer markets, which means that every vendor grew, raised, or made all the products they offer for sale.

When is the market open? The summer market is every Saturday from 9am – 1pm, May 20th- October 28th. The Winter Season is November and December, every Saturday 10am-2pm; January-April the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month, 10am-2pm.

Where is the market located? The market is located at The Millerton Methodist Church, 6 Dutchess Ave.

Does the market accept EBT SNAP Benefits? Yes, we accept EBT SNAP benefits and for every $5 you spend with your SNAP benefits, you receive a $2 Health Bucks coupon you can use towards fruits or vegetables.

What products do the vendors offer? 16 local farmers, bakers and food artisans offer fruits such as apples, pears, stone fruit, and berries; vegetables and herbs; beef, chicken, eggs, pork from heritage livestock; heirloom vegetables;  locally produced goat cheese; pickles, sauerkraut, maple syrup, raw honey and maple cream and confections; and seasonal blackberry jam.

What makes your market special? The Millerton Farmers’ Market is sponsored by the North East Community Center and allows our community to access local, fresh and affordable foods. It’s also an educational opportunity for teens in our Farm and Food Education and Youth Employment Programs.

Special Events: July 1st: Artisan Day; July 15th: partnering with Oblong Books Jr. for a family game day; September 30th: Apple Pie Bake-off; and October 28th: Pumpkin Decorating.

For those vendors who do not accept SNAP, the market has a Cornell Cooperative Extension table where customers can use SNAP benefits to buy tokens that they can use with all vendors. Massachusetts Ave Farmers MarketMAP operates both a Mobile Market and an urban farm in Buffalo. We grow most of the produce we sell and source the rest from other local farmers so that we can bring fresh, local, natural or organic produce to areas where it is not easy to find grocery stores.

When is the market open?  The market is open Thursdays 4 PM-6 PM (Elim) and Fridays 11 AM-1 PM (Moot); June-October.

Where is the market located?  The market is located at Elim Christian Fellowship, 70 Chalmers Ave. Buffalo, NY  (Thursdays) and BFNC Moot Senior Center, 292 High St. Buffalo, NY  (Fridays)

Does the market accept EBT SNAP Benefits? Yes, and we also accept FreshConnect checks, where you receive a $2 check for every $5 you spend in SNAP Benefits. We also administer and accept Double Up Food Bucks (DUFB), where if you spend $10 from your SNAP Card at a participating farmers market, we give you another $10 to buy fresh fruits and veggies at the market! We partner with our local food pantry to distribute $10,000 annually in food tokens to be spent at the market. We also participate in a food rescue program in partnership with Eat Local NY in which we collect unsold food from vendors and distribute to food insecure families in Tarrytown, Sleepy Hollow and throughout Westchester.
