Amsterdam Farmers Market

Amsterdam Wednesday and Saturday Farmers Market

Amsterdam Farmers MarketWe are one of the area’s largest ‘producers only’ farmers’ markets in the area. We make it our mission to bring fresh, healthy, local produce to the people of Amsterdam!

When is the market open?  The market is open Wednesdays from 3 – 6 PM and Saturdays from 10 AM – 2 PM; May 27th – Mid-October

Where is the market located?  The market is located at 100 Church Street, Amsterdam, NY.

Does the market accept EBT SNAP Benefits? Yes, and we add to a shopper’s buying power with the Fresh Checks Incentive Program — for every $5 a customer spends with their SNAP benefits, they will receive $2 in Fresh Checks to spend at the market!

What products do the vendors offer? Our vendors offer Fresh produce in season, baked goods, beef, pork, eggs, and soaps.

What makes your market special? The City of Amsterdam is surrounded by many rural areas with local farms producing fruits, vegetables, meats, cheeses, natural products and flowers throughout the growing seasons. We encourage all residents to come out to support your local farmers. Enjoy some of the best farm fresh produce that New York offers.

Special Events: We will feature live music on some Saturdays; check our Facebook page for details and dates.
