Downtown Syracuse Farmers' MarketWe are an outdoor open air market located in the center of downtown Syracuse, serving an employee population near 40,000 and a residential population near 10,000 all looking for a convenient and local resource to purchase local fruits and vegetables.

When does the market open? The market opened June 13 and runs through October 10. It is open on Tuesdays, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Where is the market located? Clinton Square in the heart of downtown Syracuse.

Does the market accept EBT SNAP Benefits? Yes! We also offer CNY Health Bucks — for every $5 spent at farmers’ markets using SNAP on an EBT card, shoppers receive $2 in Health CNY Bucks.

What do the vendors sell? The Market features more than 50 farmers and produce dealers selling fresh, seasonal vegetables, fruits, nuts, eggs, cheeses, baked goods, flowers, plants, handcrafted items and more.

What makes the market special?  The Downtown Committee will continue to partner with local organizations to promote wellness and healthy lifestyle programs. The Food Bank of Central New York will return to offer cooking demonstrations, showing market visitors how to prepare their fresh produce for meals, as part of the Just Say Yes to Fruits and Vegetables program.
